Motorcyclist dead, another hurt in Lake Avenue crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A motorcyclist has died and another is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a motor vehicle accident involving two motorcycles and a sedan on Sunday afternoon.
The Rochester Police Department said they responded to the 400 block of Lake Avenue after
reports of a motor vehicle accident at 1:40 p.m.
At the scene, authorities were made aware that a Toyota sedan was traveling southbound in an attempt to make a left turn at a local business when it was struck by two motorcycles traveling northbound on Lake Avenue.
Woman dies, passenger injured after crash into RFD truck
Officers say one male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The second male motorcyclist was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries and has been listed in very critical condition.
The ages of the motorcyclists are unknown at this time. The driver of the sedan and the passenger, both men in their 50s, were left with non-life-threatening injuries and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
