Baritone player honored at William Warfield Scholarship luncheon

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The William Warfield Scholarship Fund hosted its annual scholarship benefit luncheon Sunday in Rochester at Max of Eastman Place.
The event was held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Max of Eastman Place on Gibbs Street.
Since its establishment in 197
7, the William Warfield Scholarship Fund, Inc. (WWSF) has provided financial aid to more than 60 African American classical singers, including Eastman students and high school-aged performers.
Rochester honors Donate Life Month with River Run/Walk
This year's luncheon featured the 2024-2025 scholarship recipient Holden Turner, 25E, Baritone player.
"Supporting this year's luncheon helps fund our board's mission to provide financial scholarships, performance opportunities, vocal coaching and professional networking for our youth," Board President Lolita Forsett said.
