Wilbraham police warn of car breakins along Monson town line

WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - The Wilbraham Police Department is reminding residents to lock their car doors after numerous vehicles were broken into this weekend.
Multiple unlocked cars along the Wilbraham and Monson town line were entered and contents stolen within them late Saturday night and earl
y Sunday morning. Several break-ins were also reported in surrounding communities.

Wilbraham Police said that unlocked vehicles are historically targeted in break-ins. Residents should take all necessary precautions, such as locking vehicles, removing all important items from sight, setting alarms, installing and maintaining exterior lighting or cameras, and immediately reporting break-ins or suspicious occurrences to police.
Police are currently investigating these incidents. 22News will provide updates as more information becomes available.
