CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- A man has died after a shooting in Chesapeake on Sunday afternoon, according to police. Chesapeake police officers responded to a residence in the 2300 block of Angler Lane at approximately 2:15 p.m. for a report of a male being shot. Upon arrival, officers found the man that was shot and had him transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The shooter is detained for the investigation. Police said the incident is an active investigation.
