CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- An investigation is underway after a body was found in water on Sunday, according to the Chesapeake Police Department.
Chesapeake police officers were dispatched to the area of Woodlake Drive and Sentinel Drive at approximately 2:15 p.m. for a report of a dead body in a
pond near the intersection.
This is in the vicinity of the Kroger grocery store near Battlefield Boulevard North and I-64.
The officers located the body.
The scene is an active investigation.
