VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) -- Two adults have been displaced after a house fire in the Gloucester Village subdivision of Virginia Beach on Sunday morning.
The Virginia Beach Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 900 block of Eastern Shore Road at approximately 6:25 a.
m.
Upon arrival, crews discovered light smoke from the second floor of a two-story residential structure.
Crews had water on the fire around 6:35 a.m. The fire was marked under control at 6:38 a.m. and officially marked out at 6:49 a.m.
The origin of the fire was a bedroom on the second floor.
There were no injuries reported to civilians, firefighters or pets.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
