KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that one person is dead following a multi-vehicle crash on northbound I-29 near MO-E Highway in Platte County. A portion of the interstate was shut down from around 5 p.m. until shortly before 8 p.m. today, April 13, MSHP says. T hree men shot while driving on I-29 in Kansas City MSHP says that the crash occurred as a vehicle swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle, went off the left side of the road, overcorrected and overturned. The person who has now been confirmed deceased was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene. MSHP says that two other occupants have been transported to hospitals with injuries.
