INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man is accused of graffitiing a swastika on another man's Tesla, according to court documents filed on Friday. Per the documents, 42-year-old William Thornton "Thor" Wood painted the symbol on the Tesla while its driver entered a Shake Shack. When the driver retur ned 30 seconds later, court docs allege he found the swastika drawn on his driver's side front door. Wood is not believed to have known or had any prior encounters with the driver. Police also spoke to one of Wood's relatives via a phone call, court docs indicated. That relative said he found a photo of Wood via a Facebook post that indicated police were looking for him. This led the relative to contact the Tesla driver — who was previously unknown to him — on Facebook and provide the driver with information on Wood. Following this, the relative told police Wood's date of birth and phone number, court docs stated. Online court records show that Wood is charged with criminal mischief, a Class B Misdemeanor.
