e Indiana State Teachers Association has planned a Day of Action at the Statehouse starting at 10:30 a.m. Monday. It’s one of several Day of Action events that the group has had during the 2025 legislative session. It comes as state lawmakers are nearing consensus on a bill to overhaul the Indiana property tax system.

That means that last day of school for students will be moved to May 23, and, for staff, it will be May 27.
