After a beautiful sunny Saturday, we have seen plenty of clouds return to conclude the weekend. The good news though is temperatures have been warmer, as we have topped out in the low-to-mid 60s today.

ng into tonight. You may want to have the umbrella handy for your plans, but any showers that do occur will be light and brief. Temperatures will drop down only to around 50 degrees overnight.

A cold front is set to move through on Monday, but rain chances along it will be low locally. Only a few spotty showers and perhaps a thunderstorm can be expected, mainly during the afternoon. High temperatures will top out in the upper 60s. The bigger story will be the increase in winds as the front passes through, with gusts up to 35 mph anticipated.

Temperatures will cool down on Tuesday behind the cold front and winds will be strong throughout the day; look for northwest wind gusts up to 40 mph at times. This will create an added chill in the air, as our high temperatures will only reach the upper 40s. We'll also see scattered rain showers once again, especially during the morning. It will certainly not be a spring-like day, as you'll need your coat and umbrella close by.

By late in the week though, we are tracking the return of showers and thunderstorms Thursday night through Friday. Temperatures will zoom up into the 70s on Friday and there is the chance for some storms to be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted a slight severe weather chance for Friday. We will continue to provide you updates as they become available.
