WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- An investigation is underway after a teenage boy was shot in Southeast on Sunday afternoon, D.C. police said. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), officers responded to the 3300 block of 10th Place, SE, a short time before 1 p.m. for a reported shooti ng. There, police said officers found the 16-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds. Teen boy injured in Northwest DC shooting, police investigating Medics responded and took the teen, who was conscious and breathing, to the hospital for treatment.
