ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The William Warfield Scholarship Fund will host its annual scholarship benefit luncheon Sunday in Rochester at Max of Eastman Place on Gibbs Street. This year's luncheon will feature the 2024-2025 scholarship recipient Holden Turner, 25E, Baritone. The luncheon will in clude a live painting performance by visual artist David Haygood. Tickets for the luncheon cost $90/person and it'll run from 2-4 p.m. Paid parking is available near Max of Eastman Place. Since its establishment in 1977, the William Warfield Scholarship Fund, Inc. (WWSF) has provided financial aid to more than 60 African American classical singers, including Eastman students and high school-aged performers.
