NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist dead in New Orleans East on Saturday, April 12. The NOPD reported that a man was riding a motorcycle south on the Almonaster overpass near Jourdan Road when he hit a barrier. Police report second Bourbon Street bomb scare in two weeks He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. NOPD officials said the investigation is ongoing, and the Orleans Parish coroner will identify the victim.
