TRAFALGAR, Ind. (WISH) — Over 30 animals died after a barn, filled with hay and straw, caught on fire. The Trafalgar Fire Department said the blaze started around 4 p.m., Saturday in the 2800 block of County Road 750 South. Firefighters emptied out the barn, clearing out over 70-80 bales of hay and straw that were on fire. No person was injured, however multiple animals died. TFD said 5 goats, 22 chicks, 5 guineas, and 3 rabbits died in the fire. An electrical malfunction is believed to have started the fire. Multiple animals died from a barn fire in Trafalgar.
