1 man dead, 1 injured in Fort Wayne shooting FORT WAYNE (WISH) — One man is dead and another is in serious condition in the hospital after a shooting early Sunday morning. The Fort Wayne Police Department said they were called to the shooting around 1:15 a.m. in the 2100 block of Hobson Roa d. Officers arrived to find one man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. While officers were at the scene, they were told of a second man, also injured from the same shooting, had gone to the hospital. He is currently in life-threatening condition. Later in the morning, FWPD responded to a separate shooting that killed a person. FWPD said, around 5:40 a.m., they responded to the area of East Wayne Street and South Monroe Street on the report of a man who had been shot. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
