2nd chance job and resource fair INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each week on Community Link, Carolene Mays takes a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community. This week, two guests joined to highlight the Second Chance Expo Job and Resource Fair, held Apri l 25 at Martin University, which offers support and opportunities for the reentry community in Indianapolis. The eventaims to connect formerly incarcerated individuals with employers and resources to help them stabilize and succeed in their lives. Two keynote speakers will appear at the fair, Keidrain Brewster and Tanaine Jenkins, both of whom are TED Talk speakers and have experienced success after incarceration. In addition to job opportunities, the fair will include food trucks and a local panel discussing the journeys of individuals who have been formerly incarcerated. Families of formerly incarcerated individuals are encouraged to attend, as there will be resources available to support them and their loved ones.
