Occasional sunshine has built its way into the region to begin the afternoon even under mostly cloudy skies. This is due to most of our clouds being in the upper levels for the time being. A few more opportunities for rain showers will carry into the afternoon, but similar to what we saw this morning, they will be scattered in nature. Highs today reach into the lower 60s for Fort Wayne. Temperatures climb into the 60s this afternoon. It will be breezy at times today, especially in the afternoon, with peak wind gusts up to 25 mph. A few more scattered rain showers will be possible overnight into Monday but are dry for the rush hour commute Monday AM, where temperatures will be in the 50s. More occasional scattered rain showers move in during the afternoon hours, though. So, you might want to have an umbrella or rain jacket in your car just in case.
