After a cloudy and somewhat dreary Saturday, we eagerly anticipate a brighter Sunday. The rain-drenched clouds that have lingered over the past few days are finally moving eastward, paving the way for a welcome return of sunshine to herald the new week. High temperatures are projected to reach the 5
0s and 60s on Sunday, offering a cool yet refreshing start. Although the temperatures will remain below average, Monday promises a warm-up, with highs soaring into the 70s.A cold front is set to sweep through late Monday, bringing showers and storms that may linger into the early hours of Tuesday before finally exiting the scene by Wednesday. Rainfall from these passing showers is expected to range between a tenth to a quarter of an inch, while more intense storms could deliver an additional half to three-quarters of an inch before the skies clear midweek.
The most severe weather will focus on the Ohio River Valley on Monday. However, we may experience isolated severe storms late Monday into early Tuesday. Areas with heavier rain and storms could see an additional inch of rainfall.
As brisk winds follow on Wednesday, temperatures will dip back into the 40s and 50s, but don't worry! Thursday will reward us with a beautiful return to the mid-60s under bright sunshine. As we move closer to Easter, clouds will gather, coinciding with the rising excitement of Holy Week services. We might see high temperatures reach the 70s or flirt with the 80s by the weekend. While rain for Easter is not out of the question, the likelihood of precipitation over the next seven days appears slightly less compared to the previous week—so let's hope for some delightful spring weather!
