(WWLP) - A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Berkshire County, Franklin County, western Hampden County, and western Hampshire County until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday for accumulating snow. LIST: April snow showers bring totals to western Massachusetts Saturday is bring ing winter weather into April, with steady snow through 9:00 a.m. Snow and sleet showers are likely through noon, and a slushy coating up to one inch is likely for many residents of the Pioneer Valley, with a few inches possible in the Berkshires and hill towns east and west of the Connecticut River. The snow and sleet will transition to mainly rain showers and drizzle by Saturday afternoon. High temperatures will be in the low to mid-40s. Patchy drizzle and fog will linger Saturday evening, with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with the chance of scattered showers and high temperatures in the low 50s.
