Benjamin Harrison Presidential site Easter egg roll INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site hosted its annual Easter Egg Roll this morning. Sponsored by HATCH, a nonprofit helping food insecure families, and the Indiana State Poultry Association, the Presidential Egg R olle is part of the 150th anniversary celebration of the home’s construction. “We feel like it’s really important to be able to have these type of free community events,” Charles Hyde, President and CEO of the site, said. The Easter Egg Roll took place on the lawn of America’s Hoosier president, Benjamin Harrison, and includes a variety of activities such as crafts, games, and readings. Visitors, and also special guests like the Easter Bunny, Freddy Fever, and even President Benjamin Harrison himself, participated in the egg roll.
