Medina man charged for possessing over 10,000 images, 6,000 videos of child pornography

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Medina man was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with possession of child sexual abuse material involving prepubescent minors, the United States Attorney's Office announced Friday.
Officials said in December 2019, Adobe Systems Inc. reported that four pictures c
ontaining child sexual abuse material were uploaded to Adobe's servers from the username "Kyle Stack."
Further investigation traced the uploads to 39-year-old Kyle Stack, the attorney's office said. In July 2020, state police seized six of Stack's electronic devices through a search warrant. Two devices were allegedly found to contain child sexual abuse material.
A forensic review of Stack's phone found a total of 4,822 images and 32 videos of child sexual abuse material, along with 2,319 images and four videos of child erotica, and 25 animated child sexual abuse material, officials said.
Stack's laptop was also reviewed, which allegedly recovered 3,476 images, eight animated images, 16 images of child bestiality and bondage, 5,930 videos, three animated videos, and 43 child bestiality and bondage videos.
The charge of possession of child sexual abuse material involving prepubescent minors carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Stack made his first appearance Friday afternoon before a judge and was detained.
