What We’re Tracking
Warm, above average weekend
Monday cool down
Rain chances by middle of next week
Temperatures this morning are near average for this time of year as we start off in the 40s and even lower 50s. Winds are already picking up as we hold on to clear skies throughout th
e day.
Southerly winds will strengthen over the weekend, with sustained speeds of 20–25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph. This will lead to elevated fire concerns, burning is not advised.
Gusty south winds will help push highs back into the upper 70s to near 80° on Saturday. Expect plenty of sunshine paired with warm temperatures and breezy conditions.
By Sunday, we’ll get a taste of summer, with highs reaching the mid-80s—some spots could even make a run at 90°! A front will move through Sunday night, bringing a small chance for light showers into early Monday. This will lead to a noticeable cool-down, with highs on Monday only in the upper 60s.
Temperatures will slowly warm through the middle of next week ahead of our next system, which could bring a chance for showers and storms by Wednesday and Thursday.
