Skies are clear for all to start the weekend, although it's a bit chilly. Temperatures across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio have fallen into the upper 20s and lower 30s. You'll likely need the jacket this morning as we climb through the 30s, and enter the 40s through lunchtime. The biggest influence on today's weather is the influence of a nearby high pressure system. This keeps us dry and sunny! Temperatures climb through the 30s and 40s this morning. Highs in Fort Wayne climb into the upper 50s today. Add that to the warmth the rays of sun provide, and you have a great day to head outdoors! Unfortunately, this nice, sunny weather does not last into Sunday. Tonight, clouds increase. Lows drop into the upper 30s. There is a slight chance for a rain shower, however, most will stay dry. A warm front glides through the region on Sunday, which does boost our temperatures to the 60s for many. There once more will be another chance for a scattered rain shower two, but most will be able to the day without some rain. Sunday will be windy, too, with gusts up to 30 mph at times. Sunday is the warmer weekend day, but has more clouds in it than Saturday. There's also a slight chance for a few scattered showers. Highs climb even further on Monday, reaching the mid-60s ahead of a cold front. While it will be warmer, it will be riddled with clouds and scattered rain chances as the cold front passes. Once this front passes through, colder air follows on Tuesday. Highs then only reach the upper 40s. Monday and Tuesday also bring windy moments. Winds may gust up to 30 mph Monday, and 35 mph Tuesday. While we do make a temporary visit to highs in the 40s on Tuesday, we get right back into the 50s on Wednesday, and even into the 60s on Thursday and Friday, which is also when our next system moves through.
