RICHMOND, Ind. (WISH) — A Richmond man was arrested Friday for stabbing two people, according to the Richmond Police Department in a news release.
Shortly after 8:30 a.m. Friday, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 3500 block of West National Road on a r
eport of a stabbing. Investigators determined that two people were stabbed at a residence in the 200 block of South 7th Street in Richmond, Indiana.
The stabbing victims were treated and later released at Reid Health.
Richmond officers and detectives responded to the residence, where several people were detained. After an investigation, Shane Cail, 31, of Richmond, was arrested for battery with a deadly weapon.
Investigators said additional details may be released at a later time.
