NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) - It's about time for high school prom season, and a pair of Fox Valley high schools combined to provide a memorable and inclusive night on Friday.
Neenah and Oshkosh West High Schools held a joint inclusive prom from 6-11 p.m. on Friday at the Neenah High School practice gym,
inviting students with disabilities to celebrate prom.

The event was 'A Night in Hollywood Inclusive Prom' and featured all of the fun and joy of a prom with a DJ, photo booth, dinner and of course, dancing.
The event was put together through a club called 'Reach for the Stars', which intends to create new relationships through inclusivity, especially in a world where some people may feel left out.
"At schools, you will see students left out, and you hear of the student who has to sit at the table alone, and that's not how it should be," Social Media Manager Andruis Kaye OBrien said. "Everybody should have their good friends and I think we can promote inclusion through this club."
Before the night of dancing, the two schools hosted a unified basketball game at Neenah High School's competition gym from 2-3 p.m.
Neenah High Schooler Brenna Pickett said it was the first time they've done something like this together with another school.
"It just kind of gets them excited, it's really important to them," Pickett said. "They feel like they have their special moment."

Even though Neenah won the game 55-31, the event allowed for everybody to have some fun and play some basketball before getting all dressed up for the big night.
