This includes a 49-hour freeway closure at Interstate 10 starting on Saturday, April 12. I-10 Widening West Saturday, A pril 12, through Monday, April 14, from 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. (49-hour closure) I-10 westbound at Mesa Exit closed. Detour: Traffic to exit at Mesa Exit ramp, proceed through Mesa, Thorn, and Redd intersections and enter I-10 westbound using Redd Entrance Ramp (Ent 08). I-10 westbound at Sunland Park and Mesa entrance ramps closed. Crews will be working on permanent barrier construction. Monday, April 14 through Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (as needed) North Desert and South Desert between Anthony and Redd alternate lane closures. Detour: Traffic to exit at Artcraft Exit Ramp, proceed through Artcraft and Transmountain intersections and enter I-10 westbound using the Transmountain Entrance Ramp (Ent 05). I-10 westbound at Redd Entrance Ramp closed. Thursday, April 17 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly North Desert between Artcraft and Transmountain closed (this closure is contingent on portable concrete barrier removal limits). Detour: Traffic to turn left on Artcraft to Doniphan, right on Doniphan to Spur 16, right on Spur 16 to North Desert. Local traffic will be allowed to proceed on North Desert but will be forced to turn right on Hoover. Traffic from Hoover will not be allowed to turn onto North Desert. Crews will be working on permanent concrete barrier placement. Upcoming Saturday, April 26, through Monday, April 28, from 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. (49-hour closure) I-10 westbound at Mesa exit ramp closed.
