Experience Richmond’s 47th Annual Greek Festival with food, dancing, and music

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Celebrate the 47th Annual Greek Festival, featuring traditional food, dancing and music at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
The 47th Annual Greek Festival is a four-day free family-friendly festival, starting May 29 through June 1, and is located at 3
0 Malvern Ave in Richmond.
According to the festival organizers, guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the Orthodox religion and tour the sanctuary, as well as discover exciting art, jewelry pieces and other goods in the International Bazaar.

Schedule of events:
Thursday, May 29 -- 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, May 30 -- 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, May 31 -- 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, June 1 -- noon to 6 p.m. or until sold out
Drive Thru -- same opening times but will close at dusk. Check the website for updates on product availability.
During Saturday's festival night there will be a special concert from the Cathedral Choir at 2 p.m.
The festival donates a portion of its proceeds each year to local charities that serve the Central Virginia community. This year's featured charities are Elijah House Academy and Richmond Habitat for Humanity on Thursday, Little Hands Virginia on Friday, CrossOver Healthcare Ministry on Saturday and Goochland Cares on Sunday. ...read more read less
