UPDATE: April 11 at 7:30 p.m. Franklin Independent have announced that, as of Friday evening, students will also return to school Monday. "On all fronts, Second Street School is structurally sound to bring students back to schoo l on Mnday, April 14," Superintendent Sheri Satterly said in a press release. "The only damage incurred was in the lower-level suite, which includes two classrooms. We will move those two classrooms to another space in the building until the lower-level suite is ready to have students again." ORIGINAL STORY: Students in Franklin County will be in the classroom on Monday following last week's historic flooding. Although district schools spent this week on spring break, district buildings were closed between April 7-9 and all activities scheduled for April 6 to April 9 were canceled. According to the district, bus service will not be provided to Big Eddy, River Valley and Travis Circle, a route serviced by bus number 30.
