(PUEBLO, Colo.) — According to the Pueblo County Coroner, a 19-year-old has been identified as the victim killed in a drive-by shooting that also left two others injured. A suspect vehicle is still sought in connection to the case.
The coroner posted about the shooting on Friday, April 11, and
confirmed that 19-year-old Michael James Suazo of Pueblo had died of a gunshot wound during an incident in the 1900 block of North Hudson Avenue, near the Highway 50 bypass on Sunday, April 6.

Officers with the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) originally responded to the area of Hwy 50 and Hudson Avenue on a report of a shooting shortly after 5 p.m. on April 6. When they arrived, officers found Suazo suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in a car near Hwy 50. He was pronounced dead on scene and two others in the car were evaluated for minor injuries, PPD said.
PPD said the shooting is believed to have occurred in the intersection of N. Hudson Avenue and Hwy 50, with many witnesses present at the time. A suspect vehicle was identified on Tuesday, April 8, as a red 2015 Ford Escape with license plate QST815.
