BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Association of Petroleum Women is partnering up with Honor Flight Kern County to raise funds for veterans by hosting a Clay Shoot charity event. Marcella Ives, an event organizer of the association, and Steve Miles of Honor Flight Kern County visited 17 News to t alk about how these fundraisers help local veterans participate in opportunities like the honor flights. The event will be on April 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kern County Gun Club at 12450 Shotgun Road. Ticket prices are $500 for a team and $125 for an individual participant.
