BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Sheriff’s Office requested the community’s assistance in the investigation related to the man who was shot and killed in Wasco in 2023. Michael Prendez Gonzalez, 34, of Bakersfield was walking in the 1200 block of Iris Street on the evening of Nov . 29, 2023, according to KCSO. He was then shot multiple times. Gonzalez died at Kern Medical on Dec. 2, 2023, KCSO said.
