Attorney General's 10 Most Wanted fugitive arrested in Sulphur

SULPHUR, Okla. (KFOR) - A fugitive on Attorney General Gentner Drummond's 10 Most Wanted List has been arrested in Sulphur, Oklahoma.
Officials say 50-year-old Jayson Geoffrey Evans was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to do harm in Indian Country as well as eluding a police of
ficer.

He was arrested on Tuesday after a tip led authorities to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Park rangers noticed some items belonging to Evans at a campsite. He was later seen riding a bike where FBI agents took him into custody.
"The capture of Jayson Evans represents the power of cooperation among our law enforcement partners and the vital role that vigilant citizens play in keeping our communities safe," said Attorney General Gentner Drummond. "I want to express my sincere gratitude to the FBI, National Park Service, Murray County Sheriff's Office, Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department and Oklahoma Highway Patrol for their outstanding work in bringing this dangerous fugitive to justice."
