SURRY COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the investigation into the death of a woman who was reported missing on Thursday, according to the Surry County Sheriff's Office. On Thursday, the SCSO's Patrol Division got a report of a missing person wh o was identified as Danielle Lynn McCrary. The SCSO's Criminal Investigations Division was called in to investigate. Investigators later found McCrary's car in the area of Park Drive of Sheep Farm Road. She was found dead a short time later. The NCSBI will assist the sheriff's office in the ongoing investigation into McCrary's death. There is no further information available at this time. This is a developing story. ...read more read less
