AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police asked for help identifying a suspect related to an April 2 attempted kidnapping that occurred in Leander. According to police, the suspect was an approximately 5’9” white man with a thin build and short, curly hair. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved t-shir t, light-colored shorts and no shoes. The incident happened at 3000 N. Lakeline Boulevard at an apartment complex, and police said the suspect was seen running south from the area following the incident. Police requested residents check their security cameras for footage from April 1 and April 2 for any sightings of the suspect. According to police, a resident reported seeing someone matching the suspect's description around 11 p.m. April 1 roaming the neighborhood.
