Probationer accused of looking into Colma homes arrested

(KRON) – A probationer accused of peeping into peoples’ homes was arrested last week, said the Colma Police Department.
At around 9:44 p.m. on March 29, Colma police officers responded to the 500 block of D Street for the report of a suspicious person who was “looking into the windows of ho
uses,” according to police.
Colma PD said officers located a man who matched the description and attempted to speak with him. The suspect, later identified as Daly City resident Justin Basri, ignored the officers and walked away from them, police said. Colma officers said they got in front of the man and he stopped walking.

Unregistered, loaded gun found during Santa Rosa traffic stop
Basri was found to be on probation after he gave police his name. Basri, according to police, resisted a probation search by “tensing his arms and attempting to pull away from the officers.” However, officers were able to handcuff him.
Drug paraphernalia was found on Basri, police said.
Basri, 31, was booked into the San Mateo County Jail for obstructing/resisting a police officer and being in possession of drug paraphernalia. ...read more read less
