NEWTON, Kan. (KSNW) -- Roadwork will soon begin on Interstate 135 in Harvey County. The Kansas Department of Transportation says crews will begin a pavement patching project on I-135 on April 28, starting at the K-15 junction in North Newton and continuing north to the McPherson County line. Newton hospital ER expands The speed limit and traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction during the work, which, weather permitting, is expected to wrap up by the end of May.
