MIDDLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — An 18-year-old East Bridgewater man has died after a single-car crash in Middleboro early Sunday morning. Police responding to Marion Road around 2:30 a.m. found a car that had crashed into a tree with the driver trapped inside. Bystanders were able to get the pass enger out of the car, but firefighters had to extract the driver out. He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to police. The passenger was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries. It's unclear what led up to the crash at this time.
