DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Jury selection for Karen Read’s second murder trial continues this week. According to WCVB, 10 people have been selected for the retrial, with six spots left to fill. Out of the 16 chosen, four will serve as alternates. The process started last week, with more than 200 potential jurors summoned to Dedham. Our legal analyst Ken Schreiber weighed in on the process. “I’d be very surprised if the court is unable to find 16 total jurors,” he said. “They all know about the case, this doesn’t mean they’re disqualified from the case.
