MPD: Suspect break into business after multiple attempts

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police are looking for a suspect who they say broke into a Midtown business this month after multiple attempts.
On April 2 at 8:07 a.m., officers responded to a business burglary in the 400 block of North Bellevue Boulevard.
Officers were told that surveillance footag
e showed a man with distinctive tattoos on his hands and face repeatedly attempting to enter the business over several weeks.

On February 23, police said the suspect had cased the property around 3 a.m.
On March 7 at 5:00 a.m., police said the suspect returned and attempted to breach a roll-up door using a large hammer but was unsuccessful.
On March 26 at 2:30 a.m., the suspect shot at cameras and exterior lights with a pellet gun before attempting to cut through a roll-up door with a DeWalt grinder, again without success.

Finally, on April 2 at 3:30 a.m., the suspect returned with a sawzall and was successfully able to enter the business.
Police did not say what was taken or how much the damage done to the building would cost.
