PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Providence police cruiser was involved in a crash on Broadway and Courtland Street Sunday morning. A spokesperson for the mayor’s office said that the officer was transported to the hospital, while the driver of the other vehicle had to be extricated and was also tra nsported.
