Rain slowly moving east as cooler weather moves in

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A slow moving line of rain and storms continues to move east Sunday afternoon. The heaviest activity will move across southern Mississippi through the day. Once the line moves through cooler conditions will move in.
Temperatures are dropping into the low to mid 60s beh
ind the front and it feels more like fall compared to the warm conditions of the past week.
Much nicer weather will move in over the next few days after Monday. Look for quite a bit of clouds early Monday with a few lingering showers. Highs will only reach the mid 60s.
Starting Tuesday expect a couple of cool mornings with low to mid 40s to low 50s across the area as we start the week. Daytime highs will stay in the 70s. It looks like we will stay dry over the next few days with low humidity so it should be beautiful for most of the week.
