FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Frankfort Plant Board Water Treatment Plant announced the water levels have risen to a level that can impact the electrical equipment used to pump water from the river. Officials say they’ve turned off the equipment at this time and are asking all customer s to ration their water usage. According to the plant, the water storage tanks are currently full. Officials say turning the equipment back on will depend on how high the river crests.
