CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Protests took place in Charlotte and across the country Saturday opposing President Trump and Elon Musk’s efforts at cutting government spending. An estimated 3,500 people attended the “Hands Off!” rally in south Charlotte.  Participants marched down Randolph Road toward the Mint Museum and back. Protesters say they’re worried about losing programs from the arts to medical and social services.
