VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - About $30,000 worth of Xanax was discovered amid a traffic stop in Visalia Friday evening, the Visalia Police Department announced.
Police say around 7 p.m. they initiated a traffic stop for tinted windows near Mineral King Avenue and West Street.
During the
stop, the officer reported finding 74 bottles of Xanax containing about 6,660 pills, valued at about $30,000. About a pound of weed was also found.
Police say they arrested 22-year-old Ahmad Nagi on suspicion of possession of Xanax for sale and possession of marijuana for sale. ...read more read less
