WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after a man was shot and killed in Northwest D.C. overnight. Just after 10:40 p.m. on April 5, MPD said officers responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Otis Place NW. There, they found 22-year-old Kalyl Yo ung of Northwest D.C. had been shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning.
