Lowell man wins $4 million prize on lottery ticket

LOWELL, Mass. (WWLP) - A Lowell man visited the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters on April Fool's Day, but the $4 million prize he claimed was no trick.
Springfield lottery winner plans to use winnings for home repairs
Erik Arsenault won the grand prize in the "$4,000,000 Diamond
s" $10 instant ticket game. He received his winnings on Tuesday as a one-time payment of $2,600,000 before taxes.

Arsenault said that with his winnings, he plans to pay for his daughter's education, help his family, and buy a new car.
He purchased the prize ticket at Lucky Corner Market, located at 1300 Gorham Street in Lowell. The store will receive a bonus of $40,000 for the sale.
