Great Danes and ‘The Friend’ INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every week, “Pet Pals TV” shares a fun, interesting, and informative story about our-four legged and furry friend population. On the latest “Pet Pals TV,” Patty was joined by three Great Danes to celebrate “The Friend ,” a new movie featuring a Great Dane, Bully Murray and Naomi Watts. The film is now showing at Living Room Theaters alongside a special screening event that offers food, entertainment, and a chance to meet real Great Danes. The movie features a dog named Bing, and the event aims to raise awareness about the responsibilities of owning a Great Dane. Great Danes are known for their size and affectionate nature, but they require significant care and attention. Karen Lockwood, Taylor Woener, and Chloe Nelson all joined to talk about the research you need to do before adopting. “They’re all very different,” Nelson said. Lockwood mentioned the importance of socialization and training due to their size, as they can unintentionally harm people since they love affection. The Living Room Theaters event also promotes Forever Friends Great Dane, a rescue organization that helps find homes for these large dogs.
