KEWAUNEE, Wis. (WFRV) - A 14-year-old driver was taken into custody Friday following three brief and terminated pursuits with various law enforcement agencies in northeast Wisconsin, which culminated in a fourth pursuit.
According to the Kewaunee Police Department, the incident began with an atte
mpted traffic stop near Manitowoc by deputies with the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office on Friday night. The pursuit was terminated after the vehicle fled.

The same vehicle was then seen by officers with the Two Rivers Police Department, however, it fled after an attempted traffic stop, and the pursuit was terminated.

Shortly after, once again, the vehicle was spotted north of Two Rivers on State Highway 42 by the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office. Officers say it fled, leading to the pursuit being canceled again.
The fourth pursuit of the night began when a City of Kewaunee police officer saw the suspect vehicle on State Highway 42 and County Highway C. The vehicle yet again fled after a traffic stop was initiated.
Although this time, the vehicle stopped at Rose Street and Wisconsin Avenue in Kewaunee. The 14-year-old driver from Algoma and a 15-year-old passenger from Kewaunee were taken into custody.
