I know you don’t usually receive love letters for this section, but in Park City, I came across a love story that deserves to be told — perhaps even read by those who need to believe in love again. They were two solitary souls braving the winter, their lives never meant to intertwine. They had
nothing in common, not even a shared language. One of them was a wild spirit — untamed, unbound — whose turquoise eyes could light up the world with just a glance. A soul without a plan, without roots, longing to find a place in the world without even looking for it. The other was meticulous, structured, a planner by nature. Their eyes, deep brown, shone even in the darkest of nights. Fate rolled the dice, and without them realizing it, the odds fell in their favor. They met as if bound by an invisible red thread. Amid the struggle to understand each other’s language, they discovered one far more powerful — the language of love. It brought them together for a fleeting moment; he carried winter in his heart, but she arrived with spring in her hands. Their time together was brief yet burned bright, like the summer sun. But love, like the seasons, is cyclical. They had to say goodbye and return to their distant lives. Neither mourned the absence of a “forever,” for their short time together had healed wounds long before them. And as they parted, both knew that enduring the winter alone had been worth it — just to feel the warmth of spring for two perfect days.
