A few rain showers are moving through the region this morning. They are not as heavy or as widespread as what we saw overnight, but they will continue to add to the deluge that we've experienced over the past few days.
A Flood Watch remains in effect for Jay and Van Wert counties in our region, a
s more heavy rainfall continues. Even for those outside of the Flood Watch, watch out for flooded roadways. The grass may certainly be growing from the rainfall recently, but hold off on mowing this weekend, as the grounds are soaked.

More rain showers will be possible today and tonight and may bring occasionally heavy rain showers at times. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible as well.
High temperatures in the Fort occur in the morning in the mid-50s, with temperatures dropping into the upper 40s into the afternoon. Have the light jacket and umbrella handy for the day.

Overnight, a few rain showers linger early, but otherwise, most of the night is quiet as lows drop down into the mid-30s. Through Sunday morning, our northern communities will see less rainfall accumulation, around 0.15" or less expected northwest of Fort Wayne. Up to a half-inch will be possible south and east of the Summit City, where the rain showers will be more focused. Bottom-line, the umbrella is a must if heading out today.

Sunday finally brings a break from the widespread rain. Unfortunately, we're quite chilly. Highs in the upper 40s for Sunday. There is also the slight chance for a rain/snow shower. No this is not a late April Fools' Joke. Most will be dry, with the chances more likely south of Fort Wayne for the rain and & non-accumulating snow showers.
More rain/snow will be possible on Monday as highs reach around 50 briefly ahead of a cold front. Once more, accumulating snow will not occur.
Tuesday will be cold, but at least dry. Highs in the lower 40s and at least some moments of sunshine. You'll likely want the coat for this day.
Temperatures do at least rise after Tuesday, with highs in the upper 40s Wednesday, reaching the 50s Thursday and Friday, and even the 60s by the weekend!
